TGIF….and I just bought a new watch.
I’m almost to the finish line of surviving a work week (albeit a 4 day work week) sans phone. While it’s definitely been a challenge in meetings and going meeting to meeting not to have a phone to keep an eye on email and to communicate with colleagues, the biggest annoyance has been not having a reliable timepiece. It’s been so long since I’ve worn a watch that my watches all have dead batteries! So, even though I’ll (hopefully) have my new phone by the time it arrives, I just ordered a new watch. At the very least, from here on out if I need to check the time, I’ll look a lot classier doing it on a beautiful new wristwatch than picking up my phone to check.
